I have a 98 BMW m3 with the factory HK soundsystem. I was wondering if bought a new head unit would i have to re-wire the whole car. I have head that bose systems have this problem. OR will my head unit and the existing speaker wires work together. Thanks.....

My little sis wants a system in her car. She has alotted me 300-400 bucks. I need a pair of 5 1/4, 4 channel amp, 1 or more low power subs and a head unit. Anyone got anythign out there? let me know i will do the install myself so 300-400 on equipment. Thanks. -John

call a dealer they shoudl give you retail if they have some left in stock. I would expect to get more than 50-60 buck for a 8w1 unless its brand new. You can get used 8w6's for 85-100 bucks on ebay.
