    Infinity Bass Link question

Tried the stereo at a higher volume today and even though the subs are in series this sub did have some output and it seems to sound ok. The idea is to get a second bucket sub built put in parallel with the one I have then if I still need a sub place this one in series and locate it in the room...

    Infinity Bass Link question

So I tested it last night and it sounded ok. Not the best and certainly not the worst. Tried it in series with the other sub and i need a resistor across it since it is 8 ohms and this one is 2 ohms.

    Infinity Bass Link question

The current sub is a bucket sub rated at 100 watts and I'm building another soon as I need more bass. So I figured adding this one in provided it goes down to at least 30Hz might help even more. Will seal up the amp opening tonight and use an amp to test it with using an audio generator to see...

    Infinity Bass Link question

This isn't for a car. It's possibly for use with a small pair of bookshelf speakers and figured since it is a car audio sub i shpuld ask on a forum for car audio. It was free so I got nothing to lose.

    Infinity Bass Link question

I was given an infinity bass link where the amp was bad (amp wasn't included) and I wanted to know how good this 200 watt sub is sound quality wise and it's frequency response before I make a plate to cover the hole where the amp was and try it out on an amp.

    2016 Toyota Camry speaker question

The 2016 I think uses what amounts to a 6 1/2" speaker on a frame just slightly larger than a 6" X 9" speaker. At least that's what the rear deck speakers look like. I would like to install an 8" rated at 150 watts RMS if at all possible.

    2016 Toyota Camry speaker question

What is the largest speaker size that will fit the front door speaker locations of a 2016 Toyota Camry without modifications to the panel over the door which has the speaker grill in it? Modding the door frame itself near the speaker opening I can do.

    6 1/2" sub recommendations

I saw those as well, but The specs Maximum Power Handling: 240 Watts Peak Nominal Power Handling: 120 Watts RMS From M6+ - CDT Audio 6.5" 240 Watt Mid-Bass/Sub-Bass Drivers Will have to see how much space I have under my front seats, but I doubt I'll have enough room for even an 8" midbass...

    6 1/2" sub recommendations

There are speaker adapters for the Camry which provide the proper spacing and mounting. I have indeed gotten both good midbass and midrange out of a set of speakers in my car before. Had a pair of Pyle pro shallow mount 6.5" speakers in the front doors of my CRv and they sounded great. One of...

    6 1/2" sub recommendations

Oh ok did not realize that. From what I've read online the actual door speaker frames are slightly larger than a 6X9 so if a 6X9 midbass speaker exists would that be the best way to go? In the CRv I had the dash tweeters I installed (pair of onkyo tweeters meant for certain GM vehicles) I had...

    6 1/2" sub recommendations

Figured the processor given it does things like time alignment would take care of things like that. Would love to, but I really don't want to do mods like that to the car nor do I have the money to do that.

    6 1/2" sub recommendations

I had actually looked at the CDT speakers, but they aren't rated 150 watts RMS. The idea is to have the 12" sub crossed over around 80Hz and use the 6 1/2" subs in the rear deck for 80Hz through around 200-300Hz.

    6 1/2" sub recommendations

I have a 2016 Toyota Camry with rear deck speakers and later this year I'm going to put in a system. For obvious reasons I do not want to put 2 or 3 way speakers in the rear deck locations so I thought why not put a couple subs there instead along with a single JL 12W6V2 in the trunk. I do...

    Stereo install question

That just lowers the impedance to the 4 ohms of the original tweeters. Also the 6 ohm impedance of the tweeters would have lowered the crossover point by almost 3KHz and I didn't have the right capacitor value to replace the original with. Only temporary though and they sound balanced with the...
