Tried the stereo at a higher volume today and even though the subs are in series this sub did have some output and it seems to sound ok. The idea is to get a second bucket sub built put in parallel with the one I have then if I still need a sub place this one in series and locate it in the room...

So I tested it last night and it sounded ok. Not the best and certainly not the worst. Tried it in series with the other sub and i need a resistor across it since it is 8 ohms and this one is 2 ohms.

The current sub is a bucket sub rated at 100 watts and I'm building another soon as I need more bass. So I figured adding this one in provided it goes down to at least 30Hz might help even more. Will seal up the amp opening tonight and use an amp to test it with using an audio generator to see...

This isn't for a car. It's possibly for use with a small pair of bookshelf speakers and figured since it is a car audio sub i shpuld ask on a forum for car audio. It was free so I got nothing to lose.

I was given an infinity bass link where the amp was bad (amp wasn't included) and I wanted to know how good this 200 watt sub is sound quality wise and it's frequency response before I make a plate to cover the hole where the amp was and try it out on an amp.

The 2016 I think uses what amounts to a 6 1/2" speaker on a frame just slightly larger than a 6" X 9" speaker. At least that's what the rear deck speakers look like. I would like to install an 8" rated at 150 watts RMS if at all possible.

What is the largest speaker size that will fit the front door speaker locations of a 2016 Toyota Camry without modifications to the panel over the door which has the speaker grill in it? Modding the door frame itself near the speaker opening I can do.

I had actually looked at the CDT speakers, but they aren't rated 150 watts RMS. The idea is to have the 12" sub crossed over around 80Hz and use the 6 1/2" subs in the rear deck for 80Hz through around 200-300Hz.
