Are you running any speakers off the HU amp, or are you using pre-out only signal? I'd check and make sure your remote wire is all fine and dandy, then make sure the RCA's are firmly inserted into the output on the amp. I've had a few HU's that the RCA really feel like they're in all the way but...

I haven't dealt with that particular HU before, but on my alpine it had a switch that allowed you to pick between 3-way and f/r/s. When on 3-way mode the HU puts out the same signal for all three pairs out pre-outs. When you do it this way i believe as though you lose LP crossover on the sub...

Do you have a DMM? If so check voltage on both your switched power and main power wire.
