Im trying to figure out how much power Im going to need for a decent sounding system. Can you guys post what kind of Sub/Subs your using and how much power your sending to it? Also, do you feel that it is enough power?

I don't know if my amp does or not. there are three sets of RCA inputs, Front, rear, Summed. Its a Infinity 7541

So the RCA's stay connected to the front output of the amp? I don't have to run another RCA cable to connect to the rear output on the amp?

How does bridging channels on a amp work? I know that you take the negative and positive wire and connect them across two channels, but do I need to do anything with the RCA cables?

Any other brand names to consider? When I searched the forum I came across names such as CDT, Hertz, Polk, Rainbow. These companies make many different models of comps, so Which ones are good?

My budget is around $300-400, but I would prefer to buy a set which are considered the best bang for the buck.

I currently have a set of MTX 6001 comps powered by an Infinity 7541 amp. I really dont like the way these speakers sound, so I would like to get something far better. When I bridge my amp I will have 278 watts a channel to power the speakers, so I will have plenty of power for a high end set...

How do these compare to the Polk MOMO's? Would these be considered as a high end set of components? Also, It says these are only rated at 60 watts. Isnt that a little low? My MTX's are rated at 90 watts but there not even that loud.

Is this the only safe way? My battery is located under the front fender and the only way to get to it is if I jack the car up, take the tire off, then take off the fender skirt. Its a huge pain and I would like to avoid doing it if possible.

I have a Infinity amp but there is a problem with it putting out static through the tweeters so I have a replacement coming. What should I do before I switch around the amps in regards to electrical safety? Should I take the fuse out?
