    amplifier noise

I just put in a 4 channel amp in my ride that will cause a hiss through my speakers if I put the gain more than half way up on both the front and rear channels. I had a 2 channel amp in before this one and it didn't cause any noise problems even with the gain all the way up. Is their something I...

how big of a fuse do i need?

I am trying to figure out what size fuse i need for my system. Looking over the web i've heard that you need the same size fuse as the current of each amp or the fuse/s that are on the amp. I have 2 30awg fuses on one amp and 1 50awg fuse on another- so should i use a 110 size fuse? I was...

2 dvc subs bridged to a two channel amp?

i was thinking of wiring my two 6 ohm dvc subs to my two channel amp in parallel, giving out a 6 ohm load then bridging it to my amp. Is this a good idea?

    2 6ohm speaker wiring

Thanks for the info. It helped explain the wiring. I'm still wondering, if you bridged the 2 channel amp when powering the subs at a 6 ohm load, would it improve the output? How would it sound?

    2 6ohm speaker wiring

I have 2 6 ohm dual voice coil subs. Ive read that you can wire these subs to a 2 channel amp and get either 1.5 ohms or 6 ohms. Do you wire both subs to just one channel on the amp or two? If you wire the subs up to get 6 ohms, can you bridge the amp to get more power?
