Well what about 2 regular ported boxes, 1 box for each pair? I could stick one in the backseat, and 1 in the trunk.

Wouldnt doubt it. These things are beasts. Decibals were being measured from the windshield. Im sure each 12" could hit around 144.7 if I had a dedicated amp to it, at least a Brutus 1200Watt @ 1-Ohm, and custom box built to specs just for the Type R.

Didn't want to make a new thread about this amp, so just adding to this one. I have the 2008D amp right now, works like a charm on my 2 12" Type R's @ 1-ohm. But, as usual, I am currently upgrading to 2 12" 08 Kicker L7s. Do you think this amp will be enough to power these 2 subs? Most likely...
