I've got a hifonics brutus 1500 watt amp and when i start my car sometimes the subs will play for a little at low volumes but most of the time not. I installed a new pioneer yesterday figuring that would be the fix to my problem but im kind of lost what to do next. the leds on the amp light up...

it pulls 1500 rms but if that is the problem how do i fix it?

they're 2 alpine type r's wired down to one ohm and its a stock electrical system. Not sure what my gains and boost is set too im in school atm. i dont think the knob/wire is broke it works fine when the amp is actually putting out power.

I hooked up a hifonics 1500d to my alpines yesterday and it all seemed fine until it randomly stopped working so I turned it all the way down on the bass knob and after playing with it a little it started to work it's doing that a lot now and I'm not sure what to do about it. Any...

Yeah im aware i was just planning on giving them both 600 watts or would it sound louder/cleaner if i just gave them 450 each?

Well im still waiting on my other type r to get here thats the reason im not wiring it up parallel. and i may have wired it to 8 ohms by accident.

I just got a hifonics brutus 1200 watt amp and i went to set it up to 4 ohm just to test it and it BARELY pushed my sub. I rehooked my old amp back up and it worked just fine. Any idea what the problem is?
