LOL. 24 cds is a bit much. So I just take my deck out, unlug the RF cable and plug the new changer in? So does that mean I have to run at least one cable through my car. Thanks.

So in theory I should be able to unplug this wire from the back of my current changer, mount the new changer, and plug the wire into the new changer?? Or is this wire coming from the changer itself and I have to take my deck out to switch changers?? I didn't know they sold 'changer connectors'...

I currently have an RF Sony changer which of course runs through my FM radio. I'm thinking about getting another Sony changer with a direct link to my head unit so it won't have to read from my FM frequency. Is this a relatively easy install and what must I do? I don't like the sound quality RFs...

Thanks. I found out the hard way. Is it normal for the sound quality to be poorer with a changer running from FM verses directly from the HU? When I play a cd from the HU it's louder than from the changer.

I have a changer that reads from my FM and was told that there is some kind of adapter that I can buy that will make my changer and HU directly compatible. I want to be able to use my changer by using my HU and not the wired changer remote that I currently have. Thanks.

Does anybody have a Sony adapter for a Sony HU and changer they want to sell or know where I can find one for cheap? My changer is currently reading from FM and is not directly compatible with my HU.

I glanced at the panels and didn't see any visable screws. I'll give a more thorough look tomorrow. Since it hasn't been answered in the other board yet, name a good Sony HU for $250 or less. I just got a Sony changer installed(best buy).
