i think i'm gonna go with a new orion HCCA-D1200 amp. but i got a few questions... In order for me to get the full 600 watts at 1 ohm, do i have to have the bass knob to the max? i'm not looking to have the building next to me shaking, just want a little more bump . Another question... i know...

gotcha! thanks for the clearification. Now, i've just been told i cant run these subs with this amp because the subs are actually DVC 4 ohm... any suggestions for a solid and reliable amp with a 250 dollar budget?

How well will the the Alpine 450, rated at 400 rms at 2 ohm, power 2 12" diamond audio d1's rated at 250 rms each. ??????? Thanks

yeah theyre both 4 ohm. How are these profile amps? the price kinda scares me haha. I'm looking for a high quality amp but the numbers the profile is rated at are nice.. just kinda iffy on the quality and everything... I'll keep that as an option though. Thanks. Any other suggestions?

Like the title said, I need an amp to power a pair of diamond audio d1 12's. They are rated 250 rms so i would need an amp that does about 500 rms correct? I'm not looking to spend more than $250 for the amp. I just want some extra bump but clean sound. Thanks guys
