The amp im using now is a crossfire 50.2....the amp im waiting on is the Hifonics Brutus brz1700.1d.....it puts out 600 watts at 4 ohms and thats all the power from the amp that i will be using for now. My subs are Kicker comp 8 ohm 150 rms subs...the hifonics amp calls for 2 guage power...

Thank you so much for your answers and phase shift....does it mess with the loudness of the bass at all...and damping factor, what the hell is that?? The 2 guage power wire they call for is from my battery to my amp...do i have to have 2 guage...let me tell you i want to do...my subs are 8 ohm...

What is phase shift...im reading the specs on the amp that i want to buy.....and what is damping factor. Also im only gonna use the amp for 600 Watts x 1 @ 4 ohms for my 2 8 ohm 12's....just until I get better subs (I want 4 ohm 12's)....it requires 2 guage power wire...do you think ill really...

well they are Kicker comps...12's will they do rated power?

Could you help me find a cea approved (for true power) 600 watt rms class D amp to give me 300 watts@4 ohms for each sub...with a remote wired bass knob for the cheapest you can find?? please I been looking all day hommie!!

shouldnt you be able to atleast push the subs to 225 watts a peice safely...they are Kicker...lol not trying to spend over $250.00 and i really would like a bass control knob with it and at what ohm should the amp be for max performance for my 8 ohm subs
