    Totally agree. I wanted to buy a new box but then saw the prices!! Build your own it wont affect the performance or loudness just so long as you build it well!! Good luck:D

    box program??~~~~~

    Ive tried looking for that program BassBoxPro6 on PartsExpress.com and couldnt find it. Are ther any other programs and wher can i find them??

    Speaker location

    I wanted to put 6x9's in the back of my car but they wouldnt fit and the rear shef was to flimsy to put them in so all i did was get some mdf place your old shelf over it and draw around, then just cut the new mdf into shape and cut the holes for the 6x9's. Carpet it and just swap the brackets...

    box seperation

    i dont know whether it should be ported or not!?!? does it make a difference:confused: the boxes that came with the speakers wernt ported so i presume i should keep the new box the same!! Thanks for your input, much appreciated.

    yeh thers 3 big pioneer prs series amps and 3 of the smaller pioneer amps running the components so i surpose it could them. The head unit isnt that old and i cant afford to replace it for a while!!
