it seems that the 0ga wire i got from knukonceptz doesnt fit into the hifonics brutus amp... is it ok for me to snip some of the copper to make the wire fit? will this produce any harmful effects?

my setup is 2 MTX Thunder 8500 12"s and Hifonics BXi1606 Class D Amp well today i was bumpin some UGK and all of a sudden i lost bass!, well i turned off the headunit and then turned it back on and it was bumping for a bit but then the bass just shut off. So i just turned off the subwoofer...

i was just wondering if having it too close to the seats will damage the subwoofers in any way?

i face my box towards the driver, it seems that i feel and hear the bass more... but when i face the box away from the driver my trunk seems to rattle... alot... im gonna be gettin some fat mat soon though!

yeah my car has an ACC wire but when i hook it up to my headunit, my headunit wont turn on, the +B wires work but not the ACC wire. i have a 1994 toyota 4runner, i bought it used and it had a stock HU. yeah i know what a DMM is but i dont have one

i wouldnt have to install a fuse or anything?

so i can buy that thing, put it in the original switched ignition source in the fuse box and connect the end of that thing to my headunit?
