is there a minimum gauge speaker wire that can be used for wiring subs? im running 300 watts rms and i think the wire is 15 gauge, is that too thin?

ok i put in a stereo in my friends brother's car and he has an eclipse HU that puts out 2.7 volts to the amp. heres the probelm. i dont know which setting for the input should be use on the amp? the low or the high input? right now, its been running on the low and adjusted the gain accordingly...

when making a ported box with a slot port of 3/4" mdf, what should the end in the box be shaped like to avoid port noise? should it be rounded, or cut at an angle, or just left alone shaped like a normal piece of wood with square edges?

hey jmac, which winISD version are you using and are those box volumes net or gross measures?

are there any disadvantages to running a shared or common slot port between two subs in a box? advantages?
