Pioneer radios work just fine with any iPod. Our test iPod at work is a Classic, and it's the generation before they added the color screen. We've never had a Pioneer radio reject an iPod unless something wasn't right.

We have some of that **** sitting on a spool at the ****. Was left over by a customer. One of the only wires that I've ever seen, where you can pull the copper out of the jacket without much effort. Strand count is about 1,000 lighter than the other stuff we have. It has a decent flex to it, though.
That's what they're talking about. You have a 6x9 in the front door, 5.25 in the rear doors. Depending on which audio system your truck came with, you may or may not have 2.5" "tweeter" in the dash. It's more of a giant tweeter/tiny midrange.

I don't own them, but a very good friend has 216s in his Civic. They sound good, but they're far from amazing. 'Eh' didn't mean bad, just unexciting. There are plenty of other comps out there that sound just as good, for similar money.
