Recommendations Please: Double DIN for 2014 Altima

I am all about SQ on a mid-ranged budget, and I like my bass to hit too. I am one of those weirdos who crosses from Rock to Basshead music from time to time. So I guess mixed. Love the quietness of the new vehicles so excited to get a real nice setup going. It sounds decent now, but that stock...

Recommendations Please: Double DIN for 2014 Altima

I was going around 500 or a bit more. I found the AVH-4100NEX Pioneer.....looking very nice with a full set of features including an EQ to help me nail the flat curve. Probably go with that. However, I am still open to ideas. I tried to go hi level outs from the stock...it's okay...but I should...

Simple as that, looking for a great double DIN deck for a real sound tweaker. Loved my DEH-80PRS if that helps. Thank you so much for anything you can suggest.

    Sound deadening...

I would check this out... Welcome to Sound Deadener Showdown | Sound Deadener Showdown ...and read all of the articles. I just got done reading all about how to create a 'barrier' between the passenger compartment and the road. Pretty cool stuff. Go look at 'keep_hope_alive' build logs in the...

    To Tame Rattles and Buzzes

Ahh yes...excellent. I also found MLV and heat barrier from Home Depot that 'Keep_Hope_Alive' mentioned in another post. All great stuff....I'll get some CLD tiles too. I am going to take my time and do this part right...take the car in phases, I will have to set aside a whole day just for...

    To Tame Rattles and Buzzes

Ahhh yeah....from what I am reading...looks like the brush-on stuff might be a little better....but I found liquid deadener all the same. Thanks.

Spray-On Deadener??? Do tell...do tell. What is this...I will go google. Sounds good though. This is a Nissan Sentra...I definitely could be dealing with worse. It is pretty quiet to begin with...looks like most are coming from the doors and the rear deck which I can disassemble and deaden.  ...

    To Tame Rattles and Buzzes

I am simply looking for the techniques folks use to tame rattles. I am looking to cruise through my car and get rid of em all if I can. I am starting by taking off the door panels and taking care of any buzzes that those generate as the panel is multi piece. What kind of materials do you use to...

    Help With SQ Tuning

Yes...I can see how this might be helpful. Very cool! Copied them over to my player. I do want to get narrow band with mono pink noise so I will get a hold of those Audiosound 2000 discs too. That will help me a lot with getting the image centered at all freq's. I was on the way to work this...

Question about 2 and 4 channel amps

....and your noise floor is much lower as well...technically giving you more dynamic range for music reproduction. Okay....I'm done...

Question about 2 and 4 channel amps

Not only is it fine...but you will have very low distortion and will not have to worry about signal clip on the amp at all.
