He seems like a reasonable guy, spoke with him a few times on the phone. Agreed, he doesnt seem like the type of guy who will deliberatley try to f*ck anyone but I do believe he's in over his head at this point... BTW, frustrating the man by way of razing him here will not get anyone their amp...

You might get $50 for the JL. Anyone without connections in JL will have to pay 450 to get it repaired, that includes shipping.. You can get them on Ebay for like $600 nowadays.. I have 2 that I sent in, came back brand new in original JL boxes.. Just sitting here, not sure if I'm going to use...

Review of Subwoofer or Speaker: Dish the dirt on the Mmats 18" juggies, what do you guys think? Rate them in performance both SQ and SPL, rate them on retail price, rate them in competitions, and popularity.. Are they overpriced? What popular sub can they be compared to? Fire away!!

I guess what I am trying to say is the Arts are much more current hungry than the T30001BD run @ 1.5 ohm and a pair of Mmats D3500.5s. run @ 1 ohm each. Question, if I wanted to run a pair of these, with a pair of JLs 12W7s (1 per sub bridged) would a rewound alt and a batcap be enough to supply current/amperage for 25 HZ test tones? What about music all day? I'm not an SPL guy, but I like being able drop jaws with the lows from time to time...
