just wonderin if anybody could tell me what the thickness was... i am recessing the subs in the box and my l7 is 3/4" thick i wasnt sure if these smaller subs would be the same. thanks

i just burned a cd of test tones... i used some of the realm of excursion ones and ones from other sites i found to get as many as possible. do you think this willl be ok because they are from different places and might be louder than one another also, for cabin gain, will a frequency one...

hey just curious as to where exactly you all attatch your cloth material to the sub rings. do you cut the upper ring a little wider of a hole for the sub to fit into and just attatch it to the inner sides or what? i keep having problems between this and carpeting when i go to put the sub in and...

ok im understanding that efficiency is not the only parameter that is important... so when you all are deciding on a sub what parameters are you looking most closly at? say, for an sq setup, and for an spl setup?

ok so from what i understand...an spl sub will have high efficiency and an sq sub will have lower. you would want a higher qms with an spl sub im guessing because that would indicate having a stiffer suspension and more loss because of it? it seems to me that the efficiency of the sub would be...

so there is a hump then a steep fall at both ends of the response? that was another thing i was not sure of with tuning to the cabin gain. how would the cabin gain number effect tuning for sq and how the box is designed. also, what is a common range of frequencies for spl competition? thankyou...

ive ben doing research on numerous sites and found this is the common rule of thumb. is this because when going for spl you would want more excursion so by having a higher tuning you allow the sub to unload. this seem dangerous for the sub but i cant see any other reason as to why this rule...

do you think i would need to have it constantly calibrated or dialed in to keep it consistant?

ok i guess i worded that wrong, what i meant by 2 enclosures was one big enclosure with a divider so each sub had its own. i dont plan on doin this but i was just curious as to if you would have to double the volume or half it or what and what the results would be like on the spl meter.
