Both of these subs are sq based, the alpine is probly more of a sq sub but still is decent with spl and pretty loud, and the Rockford is a mix of probly 60% sq and 40% spl or loudness but thats just my guess. Does anyone have any info on which one would be a better sub for sq, spl, loudness...

It's a hard choice, cuz if the sound quality isn't too noticeable between the 2 then ill prob go with the Orion because they r soo much more powerful, but if they really do sound like ish then alpine for sure.
