So I'm mounting a couple 4 inch speakers, but I'm mounting them about 4-5 inches away from eachother, facing away from eachother. Will the magnets interfere with eachother or the other speaker then, if I mount them that close?

So I guess its a matter of personal preference then?

Heres what I would suggest, coming from a guy who runs pretty cheap. Get a couple sets of decent Sonys for say 70 dollars a set, a cheap 12 inch, alpine would do just fine for that (and an amp to go with it ofcourse), then pick up a small amp to power a couple of the speakers, or a 4 channel...

I just had an argument with my friend about Fosgate vs. Kicker. I was saying that Fosgate has better speakers and he was saying that its a baseline brand, as in some cheap stuff, which that part I already know is ********. I'm curious as to how you would rate both brands overall?

Yeah but the volt meter I was using has fuses on the cicuit so wouldn't those blow first before I fried something?

I was told that the RCA plugins on the amp should be able to ground out to the amp ground. So I assumed that the signal wire (yes, the remote) would ground to the amp's ground too. Either way, either my amp isn't turning on, or it is and my sub isnt working. Any ideas?
