it's 350.00 for the set i was hoping to keep this between 200-300 and hopefully closer to 2, however I may have to save up because those specs look crazy. However I will be forced upgrade the amp because they are rated at 180 rms. geeze that's crazy

    Pioneer deh-80prs

Quick question, can you run the 80prs in 3 way network mode with coaxial speakers? I ask because I tried, and my rear speakers are playing only highs. I want all component speakers to play mids and highs.

    What is this noise???

Not trying to hijack the thread, here is a pic of a ground from best buy. They used three screws and wedged them because the ring terminal diameter was too big. Instead of using one screw with a washer and lock washer. Also, the brownish part on one of the screws is where it was shorting to...

    a few questions

so just called them and spoke with the manager, he said the ground being loose wouldn't cause an amp to go into protection mode. Which I know is bs, because anything with a shorted ground or no ground connect will stop working. He also said that they normally wedge rivets on the ground because...

Not really sure how to describe the sound other than it's kinda farting...

    a few questions

yep loose ground. The shop that installed it rigged the ground down with three screws because the ring terminal was 5/16 diameter. Do you think the sub could have blown because of this? When I got it to come back on it rattles, and doesn't really hit. Right now I have the rca unhooked to not...

So my amp keeps going into protection mode. Amp Kicker mono 500.1 Sub Kicker - Solo-Baric L3 10" Single Ported I have a dmm and have checked all wiring and fuses are good. I have disconnected rca's and and sub speaker, the amp stays out of protection this way. It only goes into protection...
