i have a pioneer 6400 hu and a memphis 500w amp to the sub and a soundstorm amp (being replaced in the spring/summer) powering the front speakers. where would a good ground point be in a 96 grand am? any ga owners in these forums? i'd like to kno where u guys grounded at?

why is the rear deck a bad place to ground? thats' where i have my amps grounded and i have a ground loop, just wondering why that is and if i move my grounding point it will definitely fix it...dont wanna end up drilling all these holes if it doesnt fix it, you know?

battery pop test would work..just connect some wires to the sub box terminal, and then touch the pos. wire to the pos of a battery, and neg to the neg of the battery. if the sub goes outward, you're good, if it goes in, then they're backwards

i had a legacy 1400w 2 channel....it put out 35x2 rms but the bass boost compensated a little bit. my memphis still beats the Sh!t out of it tho. get profile or something instead if you're lookin for somethin cheap

what are the steps in making a trunk look like this: i want the side walls and false floor like ADawg's, but the subs facing out like on JTz62's.... someone please describe the steps to fabricating trunks like this...i have a 96 grand am if that matters....

ok...got it hooked up and my speakers work...but NOW I HAVE ALT WHINE!!!!!! the 2 amps are grounded to the same spot...(Back of the trunk by the rear deck)...would running my head unit ground to that spot fix anything or am i going to have to do something else?
