thanks for the input on this guys im still convinced i want to have 2 batteries but my main concern was my alternator wouldn't be able to keep up to charge both batterys, until i can afford to get a new h.o alternator i have wiring the isolator and second battery lying around . i think you guys...

hello all im a noob here. but this is the plan i came up for isolated batterys in my truck and running my stereo and amps off of a second battery, i often listen to music with my truck off the only thing else that i could think of was putting a relay on the switched power for the stereo because...

really? cuz they sure do sound good in these box's. they dont exactly have a lot of excursion either im sure if i had a ported box they wouldnt be moving too much air... and if that were the case then wouldnt all sealed boxes hurt speakers and subs alike? i dont think its going to be a problem...

well the amp i have is **** i wont be useing it its too bulky and doesnt even put out a lot. but using an RE enclosure calculator to my specs of being able to build the biggest box i can i get 3.595 (Ft3) for my box volume.. that should be sufficient for 2 10's correct? im also going to be using...

ok i dont have anything to put these in so i bought some cheep 6x9 boxes form kragan auto parts, anyway hooked a small amp i had lying around and hooked up my ipod they sound good! im willing to bet these could sound really good if i had an eq and independent signal going to each individual...

after watching some reconeing vidoes i figured id re-foam these old speakers. first time repairing a speaker ever. they say they are rated for 150w peak 50w rms. probably has to do with the fact its a 4 way too.. when i played music out of them the first time the foam surround crumbled apart...

just scored a set off ebay for 30 bucks im going to replace my blown p162's with them

i blew my single p1 with an absolute amp with the gain all the way down. and the stereos sub woofer levels in the negative.. no joke. im wondering what the amp puts out?
