no, the port volume isn't counted in the box volume

are you saying they aren't as loud? "lower" does not mean quieter, it means lower. if they aren't as loud, its because the box isn't peaky like the old bandpass box was.

but I do know about them... I had a pair for over a year... I tried them, I tried a few different designs, and I got sick of them... they have horrible motor noise, thanks to the vents in the side of the motor assembly... they have a very "boxy" sound... kinda like hitting a cardboard box...

i think i f*cked something up... lol they look purple from every angle
