i have had this head unit for about three years took it out when i had to replace a speedometer ignition is off i plug it in and right away it starts smoking out the back of it so i unplugged it any clue what would cause this?

there is a 2ft by 1and a half foot space

my lightning audio speakers i know arent that great but my head unit even with bass on eq all the way down i can turn it up about 27 out of 50 they bump too much is it speakers or hu?

yes i have a jvc kd-ar7000 and it has great sq and bumps like hell i highly recomend one

yes it is stock automatic turbo 350 clean fluid and stuff 320 hp motor? it has trans cooler too
