Hey I have a 2005 Expoloer XLT and I wanted to know a few things. I want to put my subwoofer in and my amp. I have a 5 channel amp and I wonder if If it would be worth it to go ahead and hook up my speaker channels to the stock speakers? or is this a bad idea?

If I am Hooking up and amp to my speakers will I be able to use the original factory speaker wire? Meaning I can run all my speaker wire to the back of the deck where they all meet up? Or is that wire to weak?

Thank you goonandbuck. How much speaker wire and what size do you think I will need if I am mounting my amp on the backside of the rear seats of a jeep cherokee? Is 50' of 16 gauge enough?

I dont know but do u need separate RCAs from the HU for the front, rear and sub? so 3 alltogether?
