Thanks for the reply. I just discovered the answer. The radio will see either my iPhone via BT or my iPod via usb, but not both at the same time. Bummer, because my older Kenwood would see both. Now I have to figure out if it will see a usb stick with iTunes music on it, as long as I can figure...

I have a Kenwood DMX958XR. When I plug my seventh gen iPod Touch into the usb, the Kenwood doesn’t see it all. The User guide specifically lists the seventh gen iPod as compatible with this unit. Help please.

I pulled out this sub from storage and lightly touched it while pulling it out of the box. It is very soft and brittle and feels like it would crumble on first use. Is it fixable? I actually pulled it out to sell.

Can I run a JL10W6V2 D4 with a 500W Kicker Mono amp? The amp gives 500w @ 2ohms and the JL says it can go 2ohms if voice coils are connected in parallel. Am I understanding these specs correctly?

Anyone here do the Big Three Upgrade and have pics? I want to do my 09 Si, but I'm a newbee to all of this. It sure would help to see some pics of the finished product.

I wanted to add a sub amp to my existing 300W 4Ch amp. As I am new to car audio, I just found out that I should add a big 3 kit and upgraded battery at the very least to accommodate the new amp. Where's the best place to get a big 3 cable kit for my 09 Civic Si?

So there's no validity to anything he is saying? At the time we spoke it made some sense to me that if we ran the amp at 1/2 it's max output, then even if speaker shorted, there wouldn't be a danger of frying anything. He said with my listening habbits, I probably wouldn't be pushing the amp...

My installer tells me that if I run my two JL 10W6V2's at 1 ohm, I run the risk of dammage to my system if I make the mistake of accidentally cranking the volume. He strongly suggests, since I don't listen at high volumes to begin with, that the JL's be hooked up at 4 ohms to my AQ1200D amp...

I already own the subs...I have to use them. I don't want to rattle the bolts loose, but I do want good, strong, clean bass. Is that too much to ask at 500W for these speakers? Any risk of frying my system if I run the amp at 1 ohm? I've been told that this is a danger with any amp.
