i was thinkin maybe two 12 kicker CVR (05 model). They arent expensive and my buddy has them... they hit pretty good in sealed so probly even better in ported...

Anyone have average prices on the others like the RE or Magnum?? in town i priced the 12 L7 at $250

And no..i had them in my toyota pickup in wedge boxes and they were perfect...but now that i have an SUV its a diff story...

Comp VR's are in a sealed box....but they dont catch the lows that i want..so im guessing that a 12 would do that alot better...i know that a ported or vented box would help the 10's but 12's are just made for it..your right about the JL w7 being pricey so can someone give me an idea of a 12...

I have a 1986 Chevy blazer and i have two Kicker CVR 10's (03' Model) in the back... I was thinking about selling them and getting a JL Audio W7 12...just one though...would that sound way better??? thanks

I have a Reg Cab toyota pickup and i have 2 6" Pheonix Gold Octane R's and 2 Pioneer tweets...i need to know where the best place to mount them is??

If you want good 6.5" speakers just get some xplods from walmart...there like $60

I would go with the Comp Vr's also..they hit harder but the HE's sound quality is a little better

yah i do listen to a lot hip hop/rap etc. even a little techno so i guess i will go with the ported box.. id probly just buy the ported box from the local pacific audio store..its like 109. will they hit hard in the ported?? I.E. Lil Jon, Master P,Ying Yang twins etc.?

I have a reg cab 1980 toyota pickup and i want to buy 2 10" Kicker Comp VR subs and put them in a custom toyota box. or a different kind of truck box maybe. So would these hit hard or what??...oh yah id run them off of a 1000w 500wx2 amp.
