mine does that. it never ever skiped on bumps. but it does if the CD is not perfectly clean. i still need to try to clean the lens. might solve it who knows.

i hope its not the case. but before i'm sending it back. i want to check that it's not the RCA cables any easy way to do that ? i remembering reading somewhere about doing some kind of shorts on them ....? any one recalls ? Thanks Danny

yes and no. i been there few months ago , and ended up buying a deck in the US. the freq from euro will actually work in the US (not the other way around). But there is a different issue that i found out recently. Called pre emphasis. do a search on pre emphasis on the net to learn more...
