in my friends car i put a 15'' FI Q in 5 cubes sub forward port to the passenger side.. on an AQ 1200D... tuned around 34hz i believe... sounds awesome daily and puts up mid 143s at the headrest on the TL..

hell for that sub in that airspace run 1 6'' aero.. thats what we always run with 1 15'' in enclosures about that size .. use this for tuning...PORT Size Calculations and Formulas for WOOFER and Subwoofer BOXES make it about 12'' flare to flare should be in the low 30s...

by comparing gut pics of the crescendo and the sundown 3k ... looks like the sundown is a little beefier..... has a few more fets and a bigger power supply..

i would personally at least go on and get saz 1500 so later you can get another and strap them.... thats how i went about it...

if you put a jensen in a vett i will personally hunt you down and punch you in the nose... eclipse, kenwood, alpine, pioneer all make or have made great flip outs that can be bought for reasonable price depending on the features you want..

wow ... i picked up my eclipse 7200 for around $350 .. which i think is a steal.. i like it pretty well except the lack of ipod support and the bland screen... but yeah you forgot about Kingwood they are killer.....

personally if your looking for loud sq i would go with an FI Q... take a lot of power are extremely durable.. and in my opinion sound really good for the money..

one of my team members does 155+ at 32hz... he has a windstar van walled off behind the b pillar with 8 15'' MA audio subs of some kind and 4 Sundown 1500s with a lot of battcaps..

ok im lookinat money per watt and i found a Kicker Kx 850.4 for under $300 refurbished with warranty.... since space really isnt as issue with me i just want good clean power would anyone recomend i go with a class ab like the kicker amp mentioned or the eclipsse XA4000
