Question about the 7200 mkII 8v outputs and if they will be too much.

Thanks for the responses guys. I am almost certainly going with the cd7200 except if I find a great deal on a deh-p980bt from pioneer. Thanks again.

Question about the 7200 mkII 8v outputs and if they will be too much.

Can anyone tell me whether a head unit with 5v pre outs would be better for my situation than one with 8v? Thanks so much.

Question about the 7200 mkII 8v outputs and if they will be too much.

Ok I see what you are saying. Basically, I will never be able to have a linear increase in sound all the way up to volume 80 on the hu even with the gains on the amp at their absolute lowest. I bet my speakers will start clipping at 40 on the volume lol because my amp can only accept up to 4v...

Question about the 7200 mkII 8v outputs and if they will be too much.

I understand that but I am concerned that even with the gain totally down on the amp, it will still be too much output from the headunit at low volumes as the amp is only capable of accepting 4 volts max.

Question about the 7200 mkII 8v outputs and if they will be too much.

I currently have a Rockford Fosgate power 1000 5 channel amp powering my system. In the owner manual, it says that the maximum input voltage that this amp accepts is 4v. Now i currently have a jensen vm9200hdn which supposedly has 4v preouts but I have to turn the gain up somewhat. I am thinking...

Elemental designs 13av.2 vs Rockford 15" T2 sub

**** this is a hard decision for me and I have to order tonight as I have no working subs. I am working with like like 910 watts at 1 ohm. Is this too little power for a re mx12? Is their anything you guys could recommend that is similar to the mx12 if i am indeed giving it too little power?

Elemental designs 13av.2 vs Rockford 15" T2 sub

I take your advice seriously. I looked at the Audioque site as well as the mach 5 page. Both seem interesting. I dont like Fi because they dont have a technical support number. I want to be able to speak to someone on the phone if I have questions. Truthfully, I would of tried the ed 13av.2 had...

Elemental designs 13av.2 vs Rockford 15" T2 sub

Well the decision got easier. To be honest I havent had the 11ov.2's for very long and today, the surround on the front of the speaker came loose or got unglued or something. I am not going to get the 13av.2 I need to order the sub tonight. Does anyone have any additional tips for me?

Elemental designs 13av.2 vs Rockford 15" T2 sub

I am looking for something that will bump while still maintaining pretty good sound quality. The sub also can't require more power than I am currently using because I dont want to get a new amp and I anyways dont want to have to upgrade the electrical.

Elemental designs 13av.2 vs Rockford 15" T2 sub

Firstly, you are forgetting the 8% microsoft live cashback on all ebay buy it now. So thats 8% off both the sub and box. That is why it turns out much cheaper than the ed 13av.2 plus their box. I have 930 watts at 1 ohm and the largest sized box I would like is something in the range of ed's...

Elemental designs 13av.2 vs Rockford 15" T2 sub

This is the box. It is pre fabricated but I have seen the boxes from this seller and they are super high quality. They are raping me on the price too but I dont have the time or skills to build a box...

Elemental designs 13av.2 vs Rockford 15" T2 sub

I would be getting the 15" T2 on ebay brand new so it would obviously be less than authorized. In fact, I would be getting the 15" T2 plus a very high quality enclosure built specifically for the 15" t2 at a combined price which is about 80 bucks less than the 13av.2 plus the ed built vented...

Elemental designs 13av.2 vs Rockford 15" T2 sub

I currently have 2 11ov.2's in their ed built sealed enclosure running off the sub channel on my Rockford Power 1000 5 channel. They are getting about 930 watts at 1 ohm. I am looking to upgrade now and I want to go ported this time around. I am debating whether to get a 15" Rockford fosgate T2...

Is one 15" mtx 9500 enough for the trunk of a 2009 jetta?

I am not sure my stock electrical can do that though. I have xenon from the factory and I dont want them damaged due to voltage problems while they are on. I will certainly try to give them as much power as possible.
