What u guys think about using a MTX 942 bridge at 4 ohms to push a MTX 9500 15' single voice coil 4 ohm. It really pushes with 940W RMS? Its a good choice?

Next week i'll build another box for my 9515. Ported. In the manual, the ported box size is 2.48ft³ but i sent a email to mtx answering for a box for my sub and the answer is: 2.92ft3 port - 2"W x 15.5"H x 27.5"L and now what should i do? The manual box or the Technical Support box? Thankx...

thats exactly what i think. i read somewhere that sealed handles more power and it haves greater excursion. let me bench my amp and i'll post here my impressions. =)

thats a good idea, first of all i´ll bench the amp, using a multimeter in ac mode, i should wire it in the bridged mode and see the voltage right? which voltage it should display for 1000w rms at 4 ohms?

i need space for 2 ppl in the back seat plus the box. if i build something more than 60-70L only one person will seat in the back. what if i port the 60L box?

im using a pioneer premier 560mp hu. the amp power is real! what if i put some polyfill inside the box?

the gain is already set at 70%. the box is sealed, i dont have enough space to ported. just saw a 9500 vid and man, that xmax is insane ! mine would never do 50% of it. should i brake in the sub? what else it could be?

Just installed my MTX9515-04 in a 60L box, powered by a 1000w rms at 4 ohms amp. The box is behind drivers seat in a ford ranger and it is not hitting hard. what´s the problem? maybe the car "gain" ? i thought this mtx would hit really hard that !!

just bought a MTX 9515-04 SVC, they might be here on monday that i tell u guys what this is all about. Gonna punch it with 1000w rms at 4 ohms right behind my head (ford ranger) ! Than i'll post a review !
