When I searched on locked up subs everyone said it couldnt be moved at all, but with mine.. when i tap on the cone it makes a clicking sound, and i can push it in only to have it revert to normal very slowly as though suction was holding it back. is my sub locked up?

asked my friend today, specializes in car's electrical systems. he said the exact same thing about the shorting to ground.. he said water couldve gotten in my wires and caused it to short the speaker. guess im replacing both speakers now :[ but ill ask to borrow his DMM and check the ohms.

if you have subs, go for the infinitys. it'll cover any extra treble you might not like. of course a proper EQ could do that too.
