Yeah I'm not hung up on having it for Christmas, but I'd like to at least have some things purchased so I can wrap up a card with pictures in it or something. I'm trying to keep it under $1000. I love the idea of 4 8's but I'm worried about the budget getting out of hand.

That's a good idea, I haven't even considered OEM, because I've always had to do custom stuff. Would this be similar to the way they lay out a duramax dual battery setup?
