The Crescendo amp is sold. And it wasn't the switch it was the connector thingy that is loose. I still have the Diamond audio one though.

    Diamond Audio D1000.1 & Crescendo Audio BC2000D

I should also mention the connection on the BC2000D that links to the Input Slave / Output Master switch is slightly loose. I've got no clue what happened to it and no way to test if that connection works.

I need help / advice finishing my system!

Year/make/model of vehicle? 2002 Ford Explorer Maximum external enclosure dimensions? 24x36x18 Location of those dimensions in cargo area? (I remember that you need the sub firing up for physical damage purposes) Passenger side pushed against rear seat. Distance from top of rear seat to...

Question Everything....engineering motto often times. Anyways, I'll listen to what pretty much anyone has to say for at least a bit. I'm glad you picked up on this thread because from what I've seen so far you understand what is going on acoustically...and in most threads I have read your lucky...

Yes I did take the seat into account. (it actually makes a 4 inch difference.) So its still 24x36x18 (W x D x H)

I am surprised at how much I've overlooked. That video was great by the way. I've been just f5'ing here and watching his vids since the first you posted. Ummm. If I use the full dimensions I listed it will go entirely from the rear seat to the rear hatch. If the box ends up being smaller it...

I need help / advice finishing my system!

Well I didn't know it would make THAT big of a difference to have it fire up. I said that because I want to actually be able to use the other half of my trunk and not have to worry about driving around with a few folding chairs touching the woofer. Almost every weekend I have a car full of...

Also, I have been doing research...as much as possible for a student at the moment. I did know that sealed enclosures were less efficient. The EBP made it look like this sub could go both ways. I looked to see what other people were doing with this sub but I mostly found home audio people. A few...

Alright, I guess I should have specified that. The entire cargo area may be used if needed. I just measured it at 36" by 44". I'd probably take an inch of each of those so a box fits better. Then I would like to keep it under 20" tall. Obviously thats WAY more room then I need or will use. If...

Sweeeet. Thanks for the responses. That 5400 looks awesome! Goodbye trunkspace. What kind of box would I want for the 5400? How many cubes? Am I right to guess sealed would work best with this sub?
