yea clipped signal will eventually kill your subs. set gains with dmm as kharps said. just search how to do it on google oh and dont use bass boost on the hu or amp

hey guys just a quick question. Would this amp: http://www.sonicelectronix.com/item_12210_Hifonics+BXi+1208D.html truly put out at least 1000rms at 1ohm? or is it greatly overrated? and how many watts rms do you think this amp will truly put out at 1ohm...
