Will a 5-1/4" speaker fit in the same place as a 5"-7" speaker? one's circular as opposed to oval shaped.

I was thinking JL component speakers possibly... They only run 200 give or take a few.

Good to hear more people do that. It sounded pretty good in his car.. They way you'd hear the music and then the bass hit from the trunk I liked it. Just wanted other opinions.

I can't recall for the tweeters:/ Had a friend throw some in for free when he helped me install my system. lol For a set I'd rather not spend over $250 Any brands in mind? Tweeters also I might try and grab some new ones.

Why would/wouldn't you choose a 12" SA over a 12" Kicker? I just want to get a better understanding of the difference, as I know little when it comes to the matter. No specific reason for choosing Kicker, I just wanted something for people to compare it to.

The big three is something I will do. Not upgrading would cause overheating wouldn't it?
