i've already heard 3 type r's and its dang loud so im thinkin 4 should be amazing....

i was thinkin the hifonics 1000 would be good. My friend has 2 L5 12'2 with a HIfonics 1000 and it sounds really good and very loud. The hifonics is cheap for the watts and will push it too.

What have ya'll heard about the Alpine Type X 12? Has anyone heard anything good bout it? If so is it a good pick of a sub and what amp should i use to push it with? I want to push it with RMS power but for as little money as possible

my friend has 2 l5 in a ported box and his stuff gets pretty **** loud. this past weekend he got a mic on it and he hit a 137.7 and that was before he got all his stuff eq'd. he has the hifonics 1000 on it

im not really worried about sq as much as i am it being loud and havings tons of bass and i would have the hifonics 1000 on the 4 type r's and the hifonics 1500 on the 2 l7's

What would be the better pick between 4 Alpine Type R 12" or 2 Solo-Baric L7 12" both in a ported box. I am mainly going for bass and loudness.

i might just end up gettin the xr component system

i say you go with the 2 L7's they will hit a 150 if installed right

the 13 only takes 1000 watts and wouldnt it give it too much watts at 1350 rms?

i payed 350 for the cd player, 265 for all the coaxials (they get loud with 6 tweeters), 550 for the 13.5"(on ebay thats why), and 500 for the amp

What do ya'll think of this setup: Head Unit- Pioneer DEH-P8600MP Coaxial speakers- JL Audio TR350CXi JL Audio TR650CXi JL Audio TR570CXi Subwoofer- JL Audio W7 13.5" in a 2.375^ft ported box tuned to 30Hz Amplifier- HIfonics 1000 I'll take any suggestions on how ot make it sound better...

i think you shouldnt ask those kind of questions and u should trade in your dodge colt or import an engine like a skyline engine or sumthing. but thats just my opinion. and after all that u need like 2 L7 Kicker Solo-Baric 12 or just one JL W7 13 but what ever you do dont ever get a power hx2...
