okay so i see the 4 ohm model of the Comp R has the option of 2ohms or 8ohms so i have it wired for 2ohms i believe. so how much power would that be sending off the 1200watt amp to each sub? and if i switched it to 8ohms how much less power would it have. if anyone sees this let me know thanks...

i bought the woofer and it said on the box it was a 4ohm, so I'm not sure if the switch is 2ohm to 8ohm or 4ohm to 1ohm but since it is labeled as a 4ohm woofer i assume that it is 4ohm to 1ohm but like i said I'm new to this stuff.   ---------- Post added at 10:00 PM ---------- Previous post...

Yes it is dual voice coil. Its a 4ohm Kicker Comp R which switches to 1ohm

I have a sound ordnance vented enclosure

by the way each sub can take 600watts each but I'm not sure if the amp really is putting out 600watts at 4 ohms.
