I looked up DVDFAB and $50 is a bit steep for me right now. is there a less expensive solution?

I always use DVD+ Discs. I use 1 Click DVD with Any DVD as my decrypter. I don't see write speed in the settings so I imagine it writing at max speed. I have been using the Staples brand of discs, but notice the problem on almost any brand disc that I have tried. To be more specific on the...
