I already have one e8 and would prefer to just find another. Those id8's are nice and it is a good price. Perhaps you should trade for my e8.

I understand what you are saying that more cone area is better. But will it sound better with more volume than a 10? If anyone has any experience hearing the difference, that would be ideal.

I had almost the exact same delima that you do about a sub under the rear seat. I have a 2000 GMC ext cab with about 300 watts bridged to a 4ohm load. I ended up going with the single e8 in a sealed box. It will suprise you for a little 8" sub, but not overpowering. I was looking at 10" subs...

There are plenty of options here on the classifieds that will fit your need of a "better than stock" budget build. You can get quality used gear that will perform better than stock. There are several decenct subs for less than $100 and a decent used 2ch amp bridged for less than $100 as well. I...
