    As the title says, how much power is too much for a single 8w7? I have an alpine mrp m1000 but I'm not sure if thats going to be too much and if I should instead get a mrx m50 to power it. The sub will be free air mounted in the oem spot of the rear deck of my car. Thanks

    I know what boxes your talking about. Zen enclosures makes them in single & dual 10" or 12". The problem with going that route is the space. That box literally uses up half of the trunk, makes the pass-thru unusable, and it weighs a lot. I like the suggestion, its just not what I want to do...
