    The only reason a car should EVER be named is if theres a funny or interesting story behind it. Nobody has the privilege of naming their own car either, your buddies do that for you. unless you're Nicholas Cage or Angelina Jolie then dont name a car.

    Yeah, it isnt an amp fuse its an inline ignition fuse. But whenever my 12v remoe turn on wire (Blue) is spliced in to my deck's turn on wire(red) and the truck's ignition wire (red) that 5-amper blows. When The Amp's blue wire is not connected the fuse doesn't blow and the deck runs fine. Im...

    I'm getting very frustrated with my car. I have tried to hook my amp up several times now. I have to run both the reciever's red wire and the amp's blue wire to the trucks red ignition wire. This wiring scheme has worked for me before, but now when i do it, it blows a 5 amp fuse in my fuse...

    also forgot to mention that Im an idiot and the deck was on the whole time that this happened. Could that change things.

    I'm not sure if i have voltage at the deck. When the face is off, the red security light blinks which to me would indicate that there is some power being fed to the deck. On the other hand even with all amp wires disconnected, the deck will not power up.

    When I was hooking my amp up, I had everything in working order. Then I went to mount my amp and everything, including my deck shut down. The ground wire to the amp may have become disconnected, but in any case, even without the amp's 12v remote turn on wire connected I cannot get my head unit...
