hai. been looking around for an amp. after a kicker 11zx400.1. its cheaper to buy from over in US, but the postage price is insane!! anyone know of a place that posts here standard shipping where the postage isnt as high as cheech and chong? halfpricecaraudio is the cheapest i've found so far.

ok. as im currently doing installations now, and i've had no replies, can ppl tell me the ways they have set their low pass cross over on the sub amp, and not just saying, turn the pod up to the indicated markings.

dont get the ks693 unless u run them off proper rms power which is 100 watts, otherwise they **** on HU power. the ds693 are ok at 70watts rms, but imo, i'd go with the ks693.

i already have the p1653 in the front and i currently have kickers ds693 in the rear, but i dont really like the kickers. so i was thinking either replace the kicker with fosgate P1683, or move the p1653 to the rear and get p1652-s for the front? opinions guys please. and does 1.5 inches of...

hooked up my ds693's today (rear fill). running off a kicker kx350.4. started the engine, and yeah, there it was. revs with the engine, when my rockford p1653's in the front also running off the amp are un-effected. even with only the fronts running, no problem. earths on amp and HU are seperate...

what hertz test tone should i run?

the rockfords have built in cross overs (3 way full range coaxial) , pretty sure ds693's are standard 3 way full range coaxials.

should i just run inbetween 50-75??

cos i see alot of amps are like 50, 60, 75 watts x4, when the rockfords are rated at 60rms. and the kickers 70 watts.

getting an amp to run 2x rockford fosgate p1653 & 2x kicker ds693. is 100x4 rms tipping the scales?
