RF p1652-s vs p1653,

i already have the p1653 in the front and i currently have kickers ds693 in the rear, but i dont really like the kickers. so i was thinking either replace the kicker with fosgate P1683, or move the p1653 to the rear and get p1652-s for the front? opinions guys please. and does 1.5 inches of extra surface area really make that much of a difference?
