Try disconnecting the 3400 and see if the voltage drop goes away. Was the 3400 fully charged?

You guys built my box so do you still think to start with 30? What can happen if its set too low?

I'm a little confused on this setting. For my AQ amp they say to set this at 30-35 hz. Won't that block everything below this setting? How do you guys set this up?

Yes, those RCAs were temporary for testing. I will be cleaning that up. I don't know about the low freq noise. It maybe in the track? It was off a base king CD that came with the sub.

Garychoffmann is right. You have to bypass the Harmon amp. You will need to run new speaker wires from the speakers to your head unit.

With 6.5 components up front is it better to run the low pass to the sub at 100 or 80 hz? I'm going to try 80 tomorrow but just wonder what your thoughts might be. It seems that maybe 80 would provide more accuracy and 100 more thump?

I believe the stock alternator on that is like 80 amps. I highly doubt that the alternator wire is only 16 gauge.

Your amp is only capable of 350 watts ( probably actually less) bridged at 4 ohms. Do you have your sub hooked up as bridged? You need to measure the sub to make sure it's not less than 4 ohms for bridge mode or you may damage that amp. Your stock electrical should be able to run that no...

Do you have a DMM? If so measure the voltage at your batt with the car running.

I agree 100%. With my tweets in the door pillars a -6 db cut on my crosses creates a great sound stage for me with minimal EQ.
