So my head unit stopped working, when I turn the car off the mechanics still work fine (the face plate still moves so I can detach it). When I first put the face-plate on after starting the car I notice that the blue-tooth light blinks on and off. Any idea what this means?

I'm in the market for a new car, and am seriously considering a 2010 G37 Journey sedan. I have a head unit already that I'd be transferring from my old car. I'm having limited luck finding out if installing an aftermarket head unit is possible in the Infiniti or not. Can someone help out...

ok wtf.....it just started turning off when I open the door again..........what the hell is going on here?

crap; I just realized my outs don't look like that, it's a plastic harness that clips into the back of the HU; the rcas are connected to it by a cable. damnit.

The noise from the subs and the fact that the **** HU turns on even without the key in the ignition are separate issues; the latter started this morning, the sub noise started this afternoon after I inspected the wiring.

OK, I'm having some odd issues with my head unit (it turns on even if the key isn't in the ignition and the car hasn't been on. Stays on til I take the removable faceplate off. It also doesn't shut off after the car's been running, I turn off the car, and then open the door). Anyhoo, I figure...

I just ordered a 9800BT from Pioneer; will my wiring harness from my old 9300 work with it? I can't find any clear pictures of the harness online..

I ended up going with the 9800BT. I'm in grad school right now, and there are a lot on Ebay for around 300 bucks. Definitely an upgrade, and it'll hold me over til I'm making bank.

Is it really that much better? I see the 1V increase on the pre-outs so that is better...16 band EQ instead of 13....does the 9800 have BBE on it? I really enjoy that on the 9300. Also wtf is burr-brown?

Would the 9800bt be similar?
