Pioneer DEH-P9800 no sound, mechanical faceplate still works, blue-tooth light blinks

So my head unit stopped working, when I turn the car off the mechanics still work fine (the face plate still moves so I can detach it). When I first put the face-plate on after starting the car I notice that the blue-tooth light blinks on and off. Any idea what this means?
