Not sure where to start troubleshooting

Just did some playing with it to check a couple suggestions. It does it driving or parked and i think i actually narrowed it down to loose connections in the plug that goes into the head unit itself. Ill be able to play with some more over the next couple days so if anyone has any other places...

    Your sub choice

Well i ended up with an image dynamics 12 in a sealed box. Very happy with it, crisp and clean. Sounds close in quality to the 2 10" jbl professionally installed in this guys car at work. Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

    Your sub choice

Oh no holes for me! Plenty of better ways to mount things like that; my favorite is high strength Velcro, holds about 20 lbs and makes a *click noise when it locks into place. Perfect for that sort of thing. I found the image dynamics 12 with a sealed enclosure and polyfill for a good deal so...

    Your sub choice

So what do you guys think is a good place to mount the amp? I was figuring on the back wall of the cab behind the passenger seat. Need to mount 2 of them, one for the speakers and one for the sub Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

    Your sub choice

The fi's look nice but I think for what I want I'm down to image dynamics and Dayton. After a bit of research I can't see the extra $80 in the Id subs So I think it's Dayton for me, especially since they can take a smaller box. Thanks for the help! Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

    Your sub choice

I was planning on a ported box. Sundown is the one I keep seeing pop up but I wasn't sure if that was the best in that range or if i could get better still. I'll look into the other ones as well, thank you Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

    Your sub choice

It will see mostly country and hard rock/alternative. I'm wanting to buy an amp based on the sub purchase Sent from my SM-G935V using Tapatalk

    Your sub choice

I can build whatever box is best for the sub but The box can't need to be bigger than about 1.5 feet on any surface I will purchase an amp specifically for the sub I get. And as for mounting it, I was planning on it being in the rear cab itself behind the seat under the window. Should be enough...

    6x9 vs ?

So I have a single cab truck that gets most of its music through two 6x9 speakers. It's time to replace/upgrade those speakers and I've heard there are better options in different size speakers and I'm wondering if that's true? I have about a hundred to spend on the speakers and can easily go...
