If budget allows, the PDX-V9 from Alpine is a great choice. Its the only 5 channel I use. But the NVX will be a good budget friendly amp but less overall power than the Alpine.

Ended up having to replace the head unit. I think the original went bad or shorted. I will probably send it in to be refurbished. Replaced it with a DEH-80PRS so its really not a loss......

Hello all. I have a 2007 Nissan Titan Crew cab and am looking to finally build my custom box for two 8" subs under the rear seat. Has anyone on here done this and if so, any advice or plans? I would call myself a novice wood worker and want to ensure I do this right the first time. Thanks!

Not much love for the Alpine SWR-8D2s on here...They're no joke. Have two of them in a sealed box and they bring the ruckus. Love them.

Does anyone on this board know if Alpine is going to reintroduce the Type X line of subs and speakers? Their website lists them as discontinued. I find it hard to believe that they would do away with their high end components and subs. Any information would be appreciated.
