Engine noise

I've just fitted an after market head unit. I'm getting engine noise/static and whining which increases as the engine revs increase. I'm not using RCA or an additional amplifier. The problem did not occur with the unit I have replaced. Is there an easy fix for this, I'm not technically minded , but don't want the xpense of taking it to an expert? Cheers, Simon

I recommend consulting a car audio expert or a technician to help with this issue.

What car? What head unit? Any other changes made to the car?
How's it hooked up?

Thanks. I've sorted it out. It was due to aerial antenna interference.

Easy fixes are the best
